Welcome to derdieseiner.ch, my website and online store! Every garment is handmade by me with love and passion for design and detail.

I am a Swiss guy who fell in love with fashion ages ago! At the beginning it was mostly about trying different combinations with clothing, playing with accessories and proportions, until I became aware of how looks can be transformed through a little detail. With time I got more and more adventurous and started creating my own pieces several years ago by tailoring my ideas, and believe me, it takes quite some time to perfect that! Hours and hours, day and night, an ongoing story of discovering patterns, choosing and cutting fabric, sewing difficult seams and hems, learning how to deal with failure… But it was totally worth it, and in 2018 I had the opportunity to design the costumes for an amazing ballet piece by Jorge Garcia at the Theater Basel. The premiere gave me shivers, blew everyone away (myself included!) and now I can‘t wait to create more crazy stuff! To be continued…
